The Beyonder…Uhhh, okay. Awesome I guess? Steppenwolf…Wonder what music was playing when that was thought up? Marvel has some of the coolest names of characters ever as well. Just so hilarious to see the most powerful with the most god awful, unimaginative and laughable, literally laughable names.
The Living Tribunal…. Marvel can steal my tribute of a user name for a final showdown! Unlike DC. Satanist Books? But all in all, one above all should be at the top. He represents the creators. He killed satan and GOD. You know, christian god. The one that could do anything he wanted to do because he is so powerful. Yeah, spawn killed them, then basically did whatever he wanted without care. Why Fulcrum is omitted from this list?
As far as I know he is the second most powerful being in the Marvel Universe. In fact some claim Fulcrum is Jack Kirby. Can somebody to clarify things. Im guessing they are basically the same. If you are at that level of power why not just be the Fulcrum instead of TOAA for a day, and then switch back.
Hmmmm, Herc is physically stronger than Hulk? Herc is also Not more Powerful than Odin. The Celestials are more powerful than Odin. Fulcrum, as others have noted. Lord Chaos and Master Order? The Stranger? She was born with 2 powers, by 18 years old she had 7 or more powers. She could man handle Thanos even with his Infinity Gauntlet.
U think storm is as powedul as some of these on the list. While she is busy calling up clouds to cause a lighting strike thor hits her in the face with lighting be ause he is the god of thunder but sure storm who is a mutant that controls wind and pulls clouds together can beat him and he isnt even on the list.
He the later defeated The Living Tribunal 3 in his later comics. Christ The Collector makes Thanos look silly in terms of raw power and even Thanos deserves to be on this list. Hulk killed death and all the super heroes and villains then resurrected his wife and son so he should be up there. Runescape Thor should definitely be on this list if Worldbreaker Hulk is, he either defeated or rivaled the Beyonders, and is 2x as powerful as Oden.
Yeah…Haller can rip apart a universe with but a simple thought. Thanks, or Kronos should be here as they all powerfull titans, that promise the end of everything? But they have to be there for her to touch. So by herself she cant beat them because these people are so insanely powerful that she would be killed before she got close. Like some of the ones on this list would be almost impossible to touch if they didnt want touched.
The Marquis of Death destroyed the sun, turning it into like a neutron star or something, and threw at earth destroying it. He did that to millions of planets and universes.
He has almost omnipotent power and can easily kill the people from on the list. Just my opinion. These lists are stupid. I just ignore them…. So the Hulk will always be the most powerful Marvel character.
All others are wanna-bees. Phoenix force clearly referring to the collective, rogue were the stronger of those Talking smak Spidey wil rule even over the omni potent assassin of beyonder Brute strength hulk gets outweigh by almost every gamma enfused character that followed abomination, red hulk If its there cosmic or celestial force mar-vel rivals and out weights most other characters But in all its an ever changing and infinite story-verse.
Well i dont know but i think hope or rogue should be up there they are both omega level and can mimic powers meaning they practically can take ANY power and i know this is wrong but wolverine is my fav and i think he should be somewhere up there because pretty much no one can puncture his adamantium and as his claws are also adamantium they can rip through pretty much anything plus he can heal so just sayin also what do u guys think is stronger adamantium or vobranium?
She is the most powerful. And if this was written before the movie, ok I get it. She can warp reality. And if this was made after captain marvel and endgame, captain marvel should be on this list. Cyttorak should not be 7 if hes omnipotent reguardless of being limited to the Crimson Cosmos. I think Captain Marvel should be on the list ad well as the Scarlet Witch. These women rock the Marvel Universe. Scarlet witch is not more powerful then the Phoenix Force. SW was the only Avenger who overpowered and made Thanos incredibly desperate within moments.
All be it without the inifinity gauntlet. A great feat and it was alluded at during infinity wars. However swap the two characters out and imagine what would have occurred. Jean Grey with the Phoenix Force would only have to think Thanos out of existence. The same would hold true for Wanda. How could you honestly believe that SW would be able to trump that? Wanda shoots out energy that hurts like B, DF Jean Grey points at powerful beings and turns them to dust.
No contest. I like the list and I know everyone had their on opinion. But to correct a few of these girls comments. They just changed that for the movie. In the comics however. Thor beats her in every category. Captain marvel is a joke compared to Thor. A list of who is most powerful should be definate but its not and no one can agree and peoples opinion on who should be where is so varied and out of whack is because there are way too many characters with all similar powers; mind control, warping the universe, bending matter etc.
Too many overpowered characters. Probably the real reason why there are more universes? The new x-men film shows phoenix. The truth is the most powerful is what ever the writers decide to write. Having deadpool kill all these god type characters is like a 93 year old man beat up brock lesnar in the octogon. The one above all represents the writers and is therefore number 1. Hercules was for a brief time worthy of this list during the Chaos King arc.
Skaar has no place at all here. The Beyonders and Beyonder are not the same thing. Living Tribunal being killed by some beyonders is just shitty writing.
The Celestials should replace skaar. And instead of Odin it should be Rune King Thor. Sentry should be here. The only thing more dangerous than an all-power, multiversal-capable being like Doctor Strange is one with nothing to lose and that's what Wanda amounts to in the wake of losing both the love of her life and their children. Regardless of the characters' personal arcs, though, Wanda Maximoff's superiority is laid out explicitly in the WandaVision season finale, with Kathyrn Hahn 's Agatha Harkness confirming that the Scarlet Witch's powers are greater than that of the Sorcerer Supreme.
That's the book of the damned," Harkness tells Wanda. She has no coven, no need for incantation. Your power succeeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme. It's your destiny to destroy the world. Luckily for fans of the MCU, a clash between the two most powerful Avengers isn't far off as all signs point to the pair trading blows in March's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. He is what happens when Dr. Bruce Banner gets mad. Basically, he turns into a giant, green, unstoppable monster that destroys everything in his path. This characteristic took hold of the good doctor when he was exposed to an experimental gamma bomb detonation, causing him to absorb massive amounts of gamma radiation. The angrier the Hulk gets, the stronger he becomes. The Hulk has displayed on many occasions a nearly invincible exterior, and strength that can match almost the best the Marvel universe has to offer.
Strength-wise, he is beyond class strength strong enough to press tons. General Ross can shift forms at will instead of having to get angry. He also retains the entirety of his intelligence and memories when he goes red. This can be seen as a strength or a weakness, depending on the situation. But if he gets hot enough, Red Hulk will lose consciousness. However, he can get stronger in a different way.
You see, Red Hulk absorbs energy, and the more he absorbs, the stronger he gets. And if he absorbs enough, he will eventually explode, causing damage to everyone within a certain radius. Now, we should talk about Skaar. Skaar is the son of the Hulk in an alternate reality. This dude is not to be messed with. Apocalypse makes his way into this position on the list because he is technically stronger than the Hulk. He also has a multitude of other abilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and shapeshifting.
One of the first mutants ever born, En Sabah Nur was conceived in ancient Egypt and rejected for his strange appearance. But he showed them what for! Eventually, Apocalypse founded the idea of having four horsemen accompany him on his genocidal endeavors, enlisting powerful mutants and others against their will, including Archangel and Wolverine. Hey, he is Apocalypse.
In the comics, The Norse God of Thunder can destroy planets, control the weather including summoning lightning bolts , fly through space at the speed of light, and even break adamantium. He has beyond class strength. For one thing, he can absorb the powers of all the other Asgardians to increase his own fortitude.
And yes, he too has fought Galactus. Maybe that should be a qualifier for this list. Hercules Yes, that Hercules is, of course, the son of the Olympian god, Zeus. While not cosmic none of that on this list! The list also mainly deals with characters from the Prime Marvel Universe of Earth rather than other realities. The God of Thunder is unquestionably one of the most powerful conventional superheroes in the Marvel Universe, with his Asgardian physiology and godly birthright granting him some impressive abilities.
Thor is physically one of the strongest characters in existence; he is nearly invulnerable to harm; and his hammer Mjolnir grants him control over the weather as well as access to massive amounts of destructive energy.
Another familiar face, Wanda Maximoff is one of the few Earth-born characters to make this list. His powers have varied greatly over the years and at times been difficult to define, but at his best, Strange can do almost anything.
He frequently travels to other dimensions to do battle with ancient demons and cosmic beings, and has proven he can hang with just about anyone. In reality, Mephisto is a powerful extra-dimensional demon who rules over a dimension called Hell. The Elders are a disparate group of extremely ancient aliens, each of whom is the last survivor of their own race. These immortals been around since the Big Bang, and are among the oldest beings in the universe.
Given their lineage, they have access to the Power Primordial, which is the leftover energy from the creation of the universe. While Kurt Russell brought a certain amount of charm to this character in the MCU , the comics version is far more brutal.
An anthropomorphized living planet, Ego has complete control over his entire planetary surface. He can create life from his biological material and command it to do his bidding, and he eats other celestial bodies for fuel. He also has vast psionic powers that allow him to do battle with cosmic entities and other powerful beings. He has sometimes been described as an Elder of the Universe, but unlike in the MCU, he is not a Celestial more on them later.
Kind of hard to believe, but it just goes to show how many incredibly powerful beings populate the Marvel Universe. Thanos is a mutant Eternal from Titan, a moon of Saturn, and he naturally has incredible strength, durability, and powers of energy manipulation. His prowess alone makes him at least equal to someone like Thor, but what makes Thanos even tougher is his determination and cunning.
Thanos has conquered the universe multiple times in the comics by gaining access to MacGuffins like the Infinity Gauntlet and the Heart of the Universe — and when he has those in his possession he is nigh-omnipotent, easily rocketing to the top five on this list.
He was originally created by a team of scientists on Earth who were trying to build the perfect man — and ended up being a little too successful. Warlock became a cosmic being who has had to save the universe more than once.
An alternate-future evil version of him named Magus has also conquered the universe, but never mind that. Warlock cannot die — at least not permanently — and he has loads of abilities tied to the universe, including matter manipulation, cosmic awareness, magical powers, and the capability to absorb and produce massive amounts of energy.
He also is permanently bonded to an Infinity Stone, the Soul Gem , which grants further impressive ability. Yes, that Zeus. In addition to the Norse gods, Marvel also taps into the pantheon of Greek gods among others , making them into living, breathing characters. And sitting at the top of the Olympian hierarchy is Zeus. As one of the Skyfathers — the leaders of their respective pantheons — Zeus is a high-ranking cosmic being in the Marvel Universe. He possesses a high level of cosmic awareness, is absurdly strong and nearly impossible to hurt, and has vast magical abilities.
Surtur is a fire giant who rules over Muspelheim, one of the Nine Realms from Norse lore. He is the mortal enemy of Odin and Asgard, and is considered an equal to the Norse Skyfather. Naturally, he is capable of destroying Asgard, just as he does in Ragnarok. You probably saw this one coming after the last two entries. While the Odin of the MCU has never really been shown to do all that much save for banishing Thor from Asgard in the original Thor film , the comics version is a powerhouse.
He is the leader of the Skyfathers and wields a considerable amount of power and influence in the cosmos. Odin also has access to the Odinforce, an incredibly powerful source of magic that allows the Asgardian God to do almost anything.
