Hi Anna, If it is warm in the house keep it in the fridge after an hour or so on the first day itself. Return to the fridge. Refrigeration is not an absolute necessity, but I look at it like an added insurance.

This way no damage will be done even if you forget about it for a day or two or don't use it on the 5th day itself. Hope this makes it clearer.
